 BYAA BASEBALL  
The BYAA offers a 2A league competitive baseball program which is open to ages 9 thru 14, age as of 4/30/10. Teams are determined by age groups with 9&10 year olds being combined. 
 
Tryouts are conducted in August and players are allowed to “play up” if they elect to try out for an older age group.
 
Once teams are selected, a $100 per player deposit is required by November 30th.
 
Practice schedule and times are up to the individual coaches. Most teams will practice 1-2 times a week thru the winter and increase from there once spring arrives. 
 
Games begin in early April and go thru the end of June with travel to away games ranging from Lafayette to Fort Morgan. Tournament participation outside of league play is up to the individual coaches.
 
Currently, there are no bat restrictions in this league and games are 6 innings for 9 thru 12 year olds and 7 innings for 13 and 14 year olds.
